



The STL01 micro displacement sensor is based on the LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) principle. Its structure consists of a core, a movable armature, a primary coil, and two secondary coils. A movable rod-shaped armature is positioned inside the coils. When the armature is at the central position, the induced electromotive forces (EMF) generated in the two secondary coils are equal. As the armature moves within the coil and deviates from the center position, the induced EMFs in the two coils become unequal, resulting in an output signal. The magnitude of this signal depends on the displacement. The output signal of the STL01 is the voltage difference between the two secondary coils, which is linearly proportional to the displacement of the core.
